Since our appointment by H.E Joshua W. Irungu-Governor of Laikipia county, the Board of Management has been dedicated to enhancing the quality and accessibility of training at our institution.

This website represents a new era of connectivity and engagement for our community. This digital platform will serve as a hub for information, resources and communication, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed and connected. It’s designed to provide easy access to information about our programs/courses, registration details, new updates and much more. We believe that this website will enhance our ability to serve our trainees and the broader community more effectively.

Achievement and future plans

Over the past year, we’ve made significant strides in various areas:

1. We’ve equipped some of our workshops with modern training tools to improve the quality of training

2. We’ve updated the curriculum to include the latest industry trends and practices, ensuring that our graduates are well-prepared for the job market.

3.We’ve established partnerships with surrounding organisations, industries and business centres to provide our trainees with industrial Attachment and employment opportunities.

Looking ahead we have set ambitious goals for the next two years, namely;

1. Expansion of courses: We plan to introduce new courses in the emerging fields such as rangelands management, home care management, housekeeping and accommodation, interior design, security guarding etc in order to align with the industry needs and the new CBET curriculum.

2. Community Outreach: We aim to strengthen our community outreach programs through corporate social responsibility.

3. Sustainability Initiatives: We’re committed to implementing sustainable practices in our centre including the installation of solar panels and the promotion of eco-friendly projects.

4. Technology Integration: We continue to integrate technology into our training processes, utilizing online platforms and digital tools to enhance the educational experience.
